.) Eat the Rainbow - Each color of fruits and vegetables adds different nutrients that are beneficial to our bodies. By eating an array of colorful foods, you can provide your body with the essential nutrition it needs. If you're able to fill your plate throughout the day with colorful fresh foods then you're on the right track.

.) Strive for 8-9 hours of Sleep - During the week, things always come up that can make this task a little tough. Things like work dinners, happy hours, kids events, etc. but if you have the mindset of making the most out of your sleep then you'll start to take advantage of the nights you have off to get to bed earlier. Better sleep with help improve your focus, workouts, and overall mood.
.) Eat Omega-3 Rich Foods 4-5 Times a week - Foods like Sardines, Salmon, Walnuts, and Chia Seeds are not only great macronutrient sources to help fill your needs but they are some of the few foods that provide powerful Omega-3's to fight off inflammation.
.) 12-16 Hour Fast Daily - Waiting a couple hours upon waking allows your body (mostly your stomach) to rest and focus on digesting the food from the day before. Some easy things you can do to avoid that morning hunger is to drink some water, go for a walk, read a book, stretch for a couple minutes. All of these things will help you keep your mind off food and focus on getting ready for your day ahead.
.) Eat Unprocessed Foods 90% of the time - Think about it, if you're eating foods with one ingredient most of the time. That usually means you're eating tons of fruits, vegetables, seafood, and meat (I suggest you stick with pasture-raised meats). Striving for unprocessed foods will keep you away from the harmful foods.
