Spring Training Log: Day In The Life – Feb. 6th

With workouts in full-swing, I will be posting a daily log of my workouts and activities.  It’ll give you an inside look at the life of a pro baseball player.

8:20a.m. – Breakfast

9:00 – Shoulder Strengthening Program/Arm Care

10:00 – On Field Stretching & Warm Up

10:30 – Conditioning/Speed Work

6 Poles (Jog) w/ 35 yd. Sprint

10:45 – Lift

Warm Up

2×6 – Six Pack (Physio Ball)

2×30 sec. – Planks on Power Plate

2×10 – Wall Angels

Superset 1

3×10 – DB Bench Press

3×10 – Dual Handle Lat Pulldown

Superset 2

3×10 – DB Front Raise

DB Lat Raise

3×10 – Bent Over Lat. Raise w/Cable

Superset 3

3×10 – Hamer Biceps Curl

3×10 – Overhead Cable Extension

Corrective Stretching

2×5 – Lying Y Straight Leg Side 2 Side

2×3 – Plank opposite Arm/Leg Hold

2×5 – Prone T – SPine Rotation

11:45 – Hitting – Tee Work

12:10 – Done
