If you’re anything like me, wine is a staple grocery list item each week. Eggs, coffee, sweet potatoes, the list goes on, and then wine. Seriously though, always wine.
I’d say that I’m rather seasoned when it comes to the Harris Teeter wine section. Not all $15 bottles of wine are made equally. With the help of this list and a handy dandy aerator, you’ll be in a Napa state of mind in no time!
9 Wines Under $15
9. Avalon CAB
Flavorful, a bit oaky.. overall, pretty delicious! The design of the bottle is what first grabbed my attention and the taste kept it on my list!
8. Cupcake Cabernet Sauvignon
Pairs well with Netflix & chill. Actually watching Netflix & chilling.
7. Red Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon
Originally, I liked this wine for the taste. Being the avid Googler that I am, I searched their Winery. Their tagline, “Live On The Edge,” and decided that I liked it even more!
6. Dark Horse
Again, upon “Googling,” I discovered this particular wine goes by
“The Full Throttle Bottle.” I’ll leave you to ponder.
5. J. Lohr Estates Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon
Describing wines is not my forte, clearly, though drinking them is. Hence the Googling. This wine got the description, “toasted pastry.” Poptart in a wine glass? Yes please!
4. 14 Hands Stampede Red
Another delicious red blend of Syrah, Merlot, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon. A staple at my MIL’s house, it’s delicious and was even labeled “Best Buy” on a couple of sites!
3. Apothic Red Blend
My gateway wine to Red wine.. the perfect mix of Zinfandel, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. If you’re “iffy” on red wine, give this a pour!
2. Carnivor Cabernet Sauvignon
Smells like berries & tastes like chocolate covered strawberries. It’s smooth, that’s for certain!
1. Liberty School House
A California Cab, it’s topping my list of favorites currently. I first had it while in one of my favorite vacation spots, Captiva Island, and was thrilled to see it at Harris Teeter!
